About our approach

Does New Logic Change™ actually work?

Yes, when facilitated with the mindset required to make it successful.

New Logic Change™ works by shifting the focus from managing perceptions, templates, and compliance activities to enabling the people who need to live the change.

Approaches like the Change Outcomes Agreement create clarity around benefits, ownership, and accountability. When followed through, they help ensure change is not just delivered, it is owned.

This is not theoretical. It is a practical shift in focus and energy, grounded in principles, real conversations, and visible ownership.

If you have ever implemented a change using a pilot team to help shape and test the approach, you will recognise the pattern. That pilot group often outperforms others when the change is rolled out more broadly, because they understand it, believe in it, and feel ownership for making it work.

New Logic Change™ helps you scale that pilot-team mindset and approach, so understanding, ownership, and momentum are not confined to a small group. It is built deliberately across the people who need to live the change.

Geoff Rose

Why is it called “New Logic Change™"?

Because it reflects a different way of thinking about change.

Old logic tends to focus on:

  • managing resistance

  • controlling rollouts

  • building risk mitigation and communication plans

  • reducing the volume of change or minimising its perceived impact

This often leads to effort focused on breaking down change into smaller, safer pieces or softened to avoid disruption, sometimes at the expense of clarity, ownership and real progress.

New Logic Change™ focuses on:

  • designing change with people, not for them

  • shifting ownership to where the change actually lives

  • aligning change to real-world context and constraints

Rather than trying to shrink or dilute change, New Logic Change™ works with the people who must live it to help them understand it, shape it and own it. That shared understanding is what ultimately reduces friction and enables change to stick.

It’s not about rejecting everything that came before. It’s about evolving how we lead and live change with greater clarity, integrity, and impact.

Change enablement progresses change

How does our methodology compare?

Is this just another change management methodology?

New Logic Change™ is focused on change enablement, not change management.

Rather than optimising for control, sequencing, or risk mitigation, it works directly with the people who need to live and own the change. Engagement, understanding and sentiment are treated as part of doing the change, not as supporting activities layered on afterwards.

Importantly, New Logic Change™ deliberately shifts energy away from behind-the-scenes project mechanics and towards working directly with the people who need to live and own the change.

Engagement, understanding, and sentiment are treated as part of the change process itself, not as separate communication or risk activities layered on afterwards.

Is this backed by research or experience?

It’s grounded in real-world practice and proven through use.

New Logic Change™ has been shaped through more than 25 years of working inside complex change environments across industries, roles, and operating models. It reflects patterns that consistently show up in practice, not idealised models or theory-first frameworks.

The tools have been designed, tested, and refined through repeated use with leaders, teams, and organisations in real change scenarios. They are built on what has demonstrably helped people make clearer decisions, align action, and sustain momentum.

As the nature of change continues to evolve, through technology, ways of working, and organisational complexity, New Logic Change™ is intentionally designed to evolve as well. This ensures the system stays relevant without abandoning what already works.

Rather than claiming fixed “best practice,” New Logic Change™ combines proven foundations with the ability to adapt as new insights and use cases emerge.

Help create ownership and empowerment for change

New Logic Change™ Navigators & Capability

What is a New Logic Change™ Navigator?

A New Logic Change™ Navigator is someone who guides, shapes, and supports change without trying to control it.

New Logic Change™ Navigators help make change visible, understandable, and owned by the people who need to live it. Rather than working in project backrooms or focusing primarily on risk mitigation and control steps, they bring change into real conversations with real people.

Their role is not to manage people through change, but to facilitate sense-making, alignment, and shared responsibility.

How does New Logic Change™ relate to Change Managers?

New Logic Change™ is not about adding roles or creating parallel functions. It’s about evolving how change is done.

In many organisations, Change Managers already play a critical role. What New Logic Change™ does is shift the focus away from admin-heavy artefacts and control-driven processes, and back toward sense-making, facilitation, and real engagement with the people who live the change.

As organisations adopt this approach, change capability becomes more distributed. Leaders, project teams and business partners are better equipped to participate actively, rather than relying on change being “handled” by a single role.

For Change Managers, this often means an evolution in emphasis, from managing change on behalf of others, to enabling change with others. The work becomes more visible, more relatable and more directly connected to outcomes.

Build capability across roles, Enhance the speed of change.

Who is new logic change for?

Who is New Logic Change™ for?

New Logic Change™ is for anyone who influences change and wants to do it better, especially those expected to help change happen without relying on formal authority.

This includes:

  • change professionals

  • people leaders

  • project managers

  • communications specialists

  • business partners and advisors

  • anyone influencing change across boundaries or without direct line authority

Whether you’re leading the change, supporting it, or helping others make sense of it, New Logic Change™ helps create clarity, momentum, and ownership where it actually matters.

What if I’m expected to influence change but don’t have direct authority?

That’s exactly who New Logic Change™ is designed for.

Many people are asked to support change without being able to mandate it, including business partners, advisors, project leads, and specialists working across teams.

New Logic Change™ provides practical tools and language to help you work with the people who need to live the change, rather than trying to push it from the sidelines.

It gives you a way to facilitate ownership, build understanding, and create momentum without relying on positional power.

More Information?

What’s the difference between standalone courses, series, and pathways?

New Logic Change™ can be taken in three ways:

Pathways are designed for people seeking applied capability and formal recognition.

Virtual sessions to create meaning and connection

Workshops and Coaching

How do workshops and coaching work?

New Logic Change™ is designed to support real-life learning and application.

By providing the core content, tools, and examples via the eLearning platform, you’re able to quickly apply the concepts in the real world before further strengthening your capability through the following sessions:

  • Virtual Workshops are live and interactive, focused on application rather than presentation

  • Accreditation coaching sessions are short, focused conversations held once required workshops are completed

  • Coaching usually occurs after you’ve had time to apply the tools in the real world, with additional sessions available for purchase if needed

This ensures accreditation is grounded in experience, not theory.

Do virtual workshops need to be taken in a specific order?

Workshops are completed according to the pathway you’re enrolled in, not a single rigid order for everyone.

The focus is on completing the full pathway and applying what you learn in the real world, rather than enforcing unnecessary sequencing.

So how does this work in real life?

You can review the following quick reference documents to see how this works in an Express Accreditation program:

Express Accreditation Programs - Sequencing:

Designed for you. With options to scale to your team or organisation.

Access and Use

How long do I get access?

All programs, including standalone courses, series, and pathways, include a defined access period from enrolment or upgrade.

Access windows are designed to support real-world application, reflection, and return, not passive consumption.

Extensions are available where work or life circumstances have interrupted your continued learning.

Access timing

Most courses, series or accreditation programs provide access to the online learning materials and downloads for 13 weeks (91 days).

Advanced Navigator Express provides 26 weeks access for a program that would usually be taken as three individual 13-week programs (Essentials, Navigator Upgrade and Advanced Navigator Upgrade).

Virtual Workshops and coaching included in accreditation programs have a 12-month validity to help ensure you can complete your program.

Getting Started

Can I start small and upgrade later?

Yes.

Many people start with a standalone course or Essentials, apply what they learn, and then progress into Navigator or Advanced when ready.

Upgrading resets your access window and moves you into a new pathway.

Can organisations spread payments across financial years?

Yes.

The standard navigator pathway breaks down accreditation training into three equal parts and investments, that can be spread across budget or financial years.

If you are requiring funding from your organisation, the following presentations for course sponsorship or organisation adoption are a good starting point.
